Our mission as an International Trade Company

As an Export-Import company, our main thrust in the international arena is to become the most effective and successful facilitator of trade between the developing and developed economies of the world.

We facilitate transactions by bringing the exporter and importer together in successful arrangements that evolves into long-term business association from which all the participants reap bountiful rewards.

Through our international trade activities, we are a gateway to the African Market for Worldwide Suppliers and a marketplace for import customers in the region to purchase everything from commodities, manufactured and processed goods to turnkey industries.

Timber Harvesting in D.R. Congo

J.I.A Global has entered into a joint venture agreement with a company in D.R Congo to harvest timber products from three concessions totaling 1.2 million acres of forestland in the Equateur Region of northwest D.R Congo. Under the agreement, J.I.A Global is the sole and exclusive manger of the concession. Our objective is to manage the concession responsibly with an eye towards proper land use management. We plan to develop other downstream wood processing operations to complement our timber harvesting activities in cooperation with our joint venture partner. The timber harvesting venture and other downstream operations, including manufacturing of furniture and wood flooring that will evolve in due course, will create good jobs as well generate tax revenues for the government of D.R Congo.

Through our countertrade activities we want to help to provide trade-engineering expertise to developing country governments, government owned enterprises and private sector entities that are interested in conducting trade and/or establishing new industries but are limited by hard currency resources. Our objective is to enable our customers everywhere to achieve their import goals regardless of currency convertibility issues.
